nah, you dont have to get these books to build your style. each person has their own style naturally, but for some people it can take a while to find their own.

personally, i bought these books to gain my knowledge about fashion, which is my favorite "subject" to learn. i'm not an expert nor master of fashion, i just love to know more about it.

Priyo Oktaviano

i've always admired & surprised by his designs. i am lucky that i had a chance to worked together with him for one or two fashion spread photo shoots back in the days when i still worked for ELLE magazine in Indonesia. Priyo Oktaviano is one of so many talented Indonesia fashion designers that always bring up the unique looks to the eyes of fashion. he's transformed the beautiful Indonesia traditional patterns/fabrics to modern & edgy looks without forgetting the ethnic touch which has been the signature style of his design.
